Most newsletters don't know who they're for.

You know you should be sending a newsletter. You're just not sure what it should say, or why anyone would open it. After the sprint, you'll know exactly who you're writing for, what problem your newsletter solves for them, and how to deliver on your value proposition with each send.

How it works

Two weeks, start to finish. No ongoing commitment required.

1

Week 1: Discovery

A 45-minute kickoff call, then we review your brand materials, past newsletters, inbox performance, and the newsletters your audience already reads and admires.

2

Week 2: Strategy

We draft your audience persona, positioning, and content strategy, and choose a newsletter structure that flows from that work.

3

Readout

A 30-minute walkthrough of the strategy deck, plus one round of revisions based on your feedback.

You'll need: a completed onboarding questionnaire (~45 minutes) before kickoff if possible, your brand materials and past newsletters, and one point person who can review the deck and send feedback within 2 business days.

What you get

One newsletter strategy deck that covers:

Audience persona: one vivid reader, the problems they're trying to solve, and where they get information today.

Positioning: what the newsletter promises and how it differs from everything else in your reader's inbox.

Content strategy: topics, recurring sections, voice, and cadence.

Newsletter structure: a recommended layout, with a clear job for each section.

Success metrics: what to track and how often to check it.

Starter content calendar: topic ideas for your next three editions.

TrueDialog

Before Future Forest stepped in, our newsletter was an afterthought — inconsistent, rushed, and never quite meeting the bar I knew we were capable of. Since then, we're hitting 60–70% open rates and seeing real revenue attribution. It's now a core engine, not a side project.

Before you book

Do I have to change my ESP?

We work inside whatever ESP you already use. No need to switch platforms.

What happens after the sprint?

If you want ongoing support, your sprint fee credits toward onboarding. If not, the work is yours and we part ways.

A down payment for ongoing newsletter support

If you move into ongoing newsletter support within 30 days of your readout, your $2,500 sprint fee is credited in full toward your onboarding fee when you sign a six-month agreement.

The strategy deck is yours either way.

The fine print

The credit applies only to a six-month agreement signed within 30 days of your readout.

It can only be applied to the onboarding fee (not monthly retainer fees), and it can't exceed the onboarding fee.

Run more than one sprint? Credits combine, up to your onboarding fee.

Sprint fees are non-refundable.

The timeline pauses if we're waiting on access or feedback from your side.

Two weeks to a clear newsletter strategy.

No ongoing commitment required.
